CONNECT 1 enables remote devices located anywhere in Europe to send data via GPRS/3G to a central monitoring station, back office information centre or corporate ERP system with an Internet presence. Vianet provides the SIM, data and a single bill to cover all communications. The tariff is customised to reflect the needs of your business and high volume users can benefit from pooled data charges distributed across all devices.
CONNECT 1+ provides a number of additional management and security features:
For the manager
It provides a secure web-based asset register which identifies all devices and enables you to add specific details of your own. For added peace of mind CONNECT 1+ also provides real time traffic monitoring and SIM management.
For the device
This means much greater security preventing hacking and snooping on the data transmission. It also enables devices to talk to each other with one acting as the master transmitter.
